1920’s “STRAFOR-Forges de Strasbourg” French filing cabinet clapets

Two stunning 1920’s “STRAFOR-Forges de Strasbourg” French filing cabinet clapets with respectively 21 and 10 compartments. The metal has been carefully polished and varnished while the brass label holders and corners have been cleaned up to shine again. Established in 1919, this company became famous for its solid and practical corrugated iron furniture. While it no longer exists, it has become a classic of industrial furniture with the remaining pieces being very much sought-after.
