1950’s JIELDE workshop lamp – 5-arms

Here is the iconic 1950’s French industrial JIELDE lamp – 5 polished-arms of 40 cm. The idea was to get a “simple, sturdy and articulated lamp in order to adapt to all working stations”. There is no doubt that this original design has been a success over the years and remains a recognizable piece of the industrial lighting history. Created for the industry by Jean-Louis Domecq at the end of the 1940’s, the collection includes floor lamp, wall lamp and reading lights. This lamp has been professionally stripped, polished and mounted on a steel base in a French workshop while the electrics has been totally revised and upgraded. So beautifully industrial!
